
Forward Partners leads £2.3m round for CountingUp
Forward Partners has led a £2.3m funding round for UK-based online bank and bookkeeping software developer CountingUp.
JamJar Investments also took part in the round, which comes five months after the company exited its beta launch stage.
The business will invest in further developing its online accounting features, in order to provide services related to invoicing and digital tax reporting.
Previous funding
Frontline led a $750,000 funding round for CountingUp in October 2017, with AngelList and a number of angel investors also taking part in the round.
Company
Founded in 2017, London-headquartered CountingUp is an online bank and developer of bookkeeping software for SMEs and accountants. The company has 4,000 customers and said in a statement that it is adding new customers at a rate of 1,500 per month.
