Livingbridge acquires minority stake in YourWelcome
Livingbridge has made a minority investment in YourWelcome, a UK-based provider of touchscreen tablets to the short-term rental sector.
The company will undertake international expansion by opening a new office in Florida to serve the US market. It will also undertake product development on its second product, an advance check-in tool that enables owners to verify contact details and ID, in addition to offering additional upgrades such as airport transfers.
Financial details of the transaction remain undisclosed, though the GP invested via Livingbridge Growth, which manages its Baronsmead Venture Trusts. Livingbridge Growth provides equity cheques of up to £5m.

Headquartered in London and founded in 2015, YourWelcome supplies tablets to landlords of short-term rented accommodation. It pre-installs software – comprising communication and local information tools – onto devices that are to be used by guests. The software also enables users to order taxis or food and book tickets for local events.
The business targets holiday lettings, corporate lettings and AirBnB users, and recently secured contracts with Jeeves Vacation Rentals and Made Comfy.
