
IP Group et al. in £14m round for Oxbotica
IP Group, Parkwalk Advisors and Axa XL have led a £14m funding round for Oxbotica, a UK-based developer of autonomous vehicle software.
The business will look to expand across Europe, the US and Asia following the deal, according to a statement.
IP Group cleantech partner Jamie Vollbracht will take a seat on the Oxbotica board of directors.

Headquartered in Oxford and founded in 2014 as a spinout from Oxford Robotics Institute, Oxbotica develops autonomous vehicle software. Its operating systems enable vehicles to navigate cities, warehouses and off-road environments using data from lasers and on-board cameras. Its clients primarily operate in the aerospace, automotive, construction, logistics and mining sectors.
