Columbia and Top Tier in $40m round for Contino
Columbia Capital and Top Tier Capital Partners have provided UK-based IT consultancy Contino with $40m of series-B funding.
Contino will continue with its existing growth strategy following the deal, in addition to pursuing bolt-on opportunities.
Since its series-A funding round in 2016, the company has expanded internationally to five offices across the EMEA, Americas and Asia-Pacific regions, increased its headcount from 25 to 250, and more than doubled its revenues year-on-year for three consecutive years, according to a statement.
Previous funding
Prior to the latest round, Contino raised three rounds of growth capital funding, according to publicly available documents, totalling around $19m. The company first received backing in 2015 and Columbia is an existing investor in the business.

Founded in 2014, London-headquartered Contino is a provider of IT consultancy related to cloud services and IT infrastructure. Its clients include Allianz, Barclays, Lloyds and ADP.
