
Zouk injects up to £13m into EO Charging
Zouk Capital has agreed to invest up to ТЃ13m in EO Charging, a UK-headquartered provider of electric vehicle charging stations.
The investment will be staggered across various stages, with the first drawdown earmarked for team expansion and product development. The remainder of the funding will be deployed across various product roll-outs.
The electric vehicle space has received considerable backing from venture capital and private equity in recent years. Recent investments include a Draper Esprit-led £9m round for POD Point in 2017, Altor Equity Partners-backed CTEK Creator Group bolting on Chargestorm in April 2018 and an SET Ventures- and BOM Brabant Ventures-led €11m series-B round for GreenFlux in June 2018.

Founded in 2015 and headquartered in Stowmarket, Suffolk, EO is a designer and manufacturer of electric vehicle charging stations for homes, workplaces and commercial locations such as hotels, restaurants and shopping centres. It also has contracts to supply organisations including Uber, Addison Lee, Google, Toyota Portugal and Hampshire Police.
