Permira-backed Corin acquires Global Orthopaedic Technology
Corin, an orthopaedic implants company backed by Permira, has acquired Global Orthopaedic Technology (GOT).
GOT, which is based in Australia, is Corin's first bolt-on after Permira acquired Corin in a secondary buyout earlier this year. Corin said the acquisition of Global Orthopaedic Technology provides significant scale to its Australian operations as well as additional R&D expertise.
Company
Founded in 1999, Global Orthopaedics Technology offers a range of orthopaedic implants including knee and hip products with enabling robotics and navigation technologies. It also has an export business in the US.
