BGF invests £6m in Evoke Creative
BGF has invested ТЃ6m in Evoke Creative, a manufacturer of self-service checkouts and interactive video walls.
BGF acquired its stake from Evoke's founders.
Evoke plans to scale up and win more contracts in the UK and overseas. BGF said the company had "demonstrated impressive international growth in the last few years".
Mark Mills, former CEO of cash machine operator Cardpoint, has been appointed as non-executive chair.
BGF has made a number of investments in the north-west of England this year, including TickX, a search engine for event tickets; hospitality firm Mission Mars; web hosting company Miss Group; and digital road mapping business Gaist.

Established in 2003 and based in Wirral, Evoke supplies interactive digital products such as self-service checkouts, video walls, digital signage and payment terminals. Its production involves design, software development and product assembly. Customers include JD Sports, McDonalds and Google. It employs 75 staff.
