Mobeus leads £2.2m series-A for Kudos
Mobeus Equity Partners has led a ТЃ2.2m series-A funding round for UK-based digital research platform Kudos.
The company plans to use the fresh capital to expand its data and suite of services, and further improve its dissemination and impact.
Unquote understands that Mobeus portfolio director Ed Wass will join the company's board to support the management.
To finance this investment, the GP deployed capital from its four VCT funds: Mobeus Income & Growth VCT, Mobeus Income & Growth 2 VCT, Mobeus Income & Growth 4 VCT and The Income and Growth VCT.
Previous funding
Kudos received several seed rounds in 2014, 2015, 2016 and 2017, for a total amount of around £2m.
