Goldman Sachs leads $8m series-A for Immersive Labs
Goldman Sachs has led an $8m series-A funding round for cybersecurity training platform Immersive Labs.
The round saw the participation of several smaller unnamed private investors alongside Goldman Sachs.
The company plans to use the capital raised to further develop its product offering by combining threat data with gamified learning. It will also look to scale up its team.
Previous funding
Immersive Labs raised a £15,000 seed round in March 2017.
Company
Established in 2016 and based in Bristol, Immersive Labs is a cybersecurity skills platform. The company uses real-time feeds of the latest attack techniques, hacker psychology and technological vulnerabilities to build cyber wargames for IT and security teams to learn from.
Immersive Labs employs a staff of 65 people and its clients base includes BAE Systems, Sophos and Grant Thornton.
