
BGF invests in BioCity
BGF has invested in UK-based life sciences business incubator BioCity, alongside investment firm Blue Skies Investments.
The business will use the newly secured funding to increase its provision of accelerator programmes and financial backing for resident companies. It will also enable it to extend the remit for its programmes to include earlier-stage companies.
The transaction is BGF's fourth life sciences deal since June 2018, following investments in Arcinova, Fluidic Analytics and Genedrive.

Founded in 2002, Nottingham-headquartered BioCity is a life sciences business incubator. The company provides work space, access to equipment, training and guidance. It has additional centres in Glasgow and Alderley Park, Cheshire.
