
Downing and Starwood in £4m round for Hubble
Downing Ventures and Starwood Capital have taken part in a ТЃ4m series-A round for Hubble, a UK-headquartered online office space brokerage.
Leading the round was JLL Spark – the venture fund of real estate investment firm Jones Lang LaSalle – with the directors of M7 Real Estate also taking part.
The fresh capital will enable the company to invest in product development, with a particular focus on attracting companies with headcounts of 50 and above.
The latest round brings the total amount raised by Hubble to £6.4m.
Previous funding
Hubble first received venture backing in 2014, when Seedcamp, Spire Ventures and other investors took part in a £500,000 seed capital round for the business.
Firestartr then led a £1.2m round for the company in 2017, with Starwood, 500 Startups and Maxfield Capital taking part.

Founded in 2013, London-headquartered Hubble is an online platform for sourcing and letting flexible office space. The business has 5,000 live listings, according to a statement, and has clients including freelancers, SMEs and large businesses. The company currently focuses on renting property in London and Manchester.
