Workday Ventures has invested in Beamery, a producer of HR and recruitment software.
Beamery will also join the Workday Software Partner Program, a group of software firms creating products that integrate with each other. The company said it has raised $40m to date and experienced 300% growth in annual recurring revenue in the past 12 months.
Workday Ventures is the strategic investment arm of Workday, a financial management and human capital management software provider. Its $250m fund was launched in February 2018 and invests in companies focused on areas such as machine learning, employee enablement, data and analytics, and robotic process automation.
Previous funding
EQT Ventures and Microsoft's corporate venture arm, M12, led a $28m series-B funding round for Beamery in June 2018. Existing investors Index Ventures, Edenred Capital Partners and Angelpad Fund also participated in this round.
Edenred Capital Partners led a $2m seed round of funding for Beamery alongside Grupa Pracuj in 2016. Index Ventures then led a £4m funding round for the company the following year, alongside Edenred Capital Partners, GP Ventures and LocalGlobe.

Founded in 2014 and based in London, Beamery's software combines Talent CRM, automated compliance and connected integration to enable enterprises to approach recruiting like customer acquisition. It also has offices in Austin and San Francisco.
