Maven leads £7m round in electric vehicle specialist Avid
Maven Capital Partners has led a £7m funding round in UK-based Avid Technology Group, a manufacturer of components for electric and hybrid vehicles.

The fresh funding will enable Avid to increase its production and invest in further development of electric motors, power electronics and battery systems.
Previous funding
Avid raised £3.4m in funding from NVM and Downing in July 2016.
