BlueGem supports PCG for Cosmetic Skin Clinic bolt-on
BlueGem Capital Partners has supported portfolio company Private Clinic Group (PCG), a UK-headquartered provider of cosmetic surgery, in the acquisition of The Cosmetic Skin Clinic.
The consolidated group will provide both invasive and non-invasive cosmetic treatments and have a combined turnover of around £30m with an EBITDA margin of around 20%, according to a statement.
BlueGem acquired PCG in 2008 in a deal estimated by Unquote Data to have been in the £25-50m enterprise value range. Under the GP's tenure, the business has opened six new clinics and bolted on Hans Place, Regency Medical and Aurora Clinics. During that time, it has increased its revenues from £4m to around £18m, according to the statement.
Company
Founded in 2000 and headquartered in Stoke Poges, Buckinghamshire, The Cosmetic Skin Clinic operates one site in Buckingham and one in London. It provides non-surgical treatments for the face, body and skin, some of which use ultrasound and radio-frequency technology.
