Triton's Chevron acquires Traffic Management Services
Triton Partners portfolio company and road traffic management business Chevron Traffic Management has acquired UK competitor Traffic Management Services.
The transaction comes a year after the GP acquired Chevron from UK investment firm Portchester Equity. It will expand the business's current network of depots, which comprised 10 locations across England and Wales prior to the deal, in addition to increasing its activity in the low-speed traffic management space.
Triton is invested in Chevron via its fourth fund, which closed on €3.3bn in 2013.
Company
Founded in 1982 and headquartered in Retford, Nottinghamshire, Traffic Management Services is a provider of temporary traffic management services, including high and low speed lane closures, road closures, diversion routes, warning signs and temporary traffic light control. The company has a headcount of around 100 and a fleet of 50 vehicles. It has additional operations in Leeds and Horncastle and predominantly operates in the Midlands and north-east England.
