Bowmark's OIEG bolts on Oxford International College
Bowmark Capital portfolio company Oxford International Education Group (OIEG) has acquired independent school Oxford International College (OIC).
The transaction comes five years after the GP acquired a minority stake in OIEG with capital drawn from its fifth fund.
The deal will enable the acquirer, which operates schools, sixth-form colleges and language schools in addition to running educational tours, to expand its UK footprint. The business is also pursuing potential international expansion opportunities, including bolt-ons.
Company
Founded in 2002, Oxford-headquartered OIC is an independent school. The company offers full- and part-time courses to students taking A-level qualifications and those preparing for university, learning a language or developing extra-curricular skills.
