
Active and Gresham House in funding round for TravelLocal
Active Partners has led a funding round for UK-headquartered online travel agency TravelLocal, with Gresham House Ventures also taking part in the round.
Financial details of the transaction remain undisclosed, though Gresham typically writes equity cheques of up to £5m, while Active invests £2-10m across the lifetime of an investment.
The fresh capital will enable TravelLocal to undertake international marketing activity, with the company having primarily focused on the UK market to date.

Founded in 2016, Bristol-headquartered TravelLocal is an online holiday booking platform that connects prospective holidaymakers with travel agents and advisers in their destination of choice. Bookings made through the platform are protected by travel association ABTA and UK Civil Aviation Authority ATOL.
