
VC firms back €1.1m round for FintechOS
A consortium of VC firms and private investors has invested in a €1.1m post-seed round for Romanian software company FintechOS.
GapMinder VC, Launchub Ventures and Gecad Ventures took part alongside unnamed angel investors.
FintechOS plans to raise another round before the end of the year, targeting €8-10m for its series-A. It expects to double its workforce to 70 people by the end of the year.
The company has recently strengthened its management team by hiring Leon Stevens, former VP for Salesforce.com.
Previous funding
GapMinder VC led a €600,000 seed round for FintechOS in November 2017.

FintechOS was founded in 2017 in Bucharest and moved its headquarters to London this month. The company develops software to help banks and insurance companies with automating processes. It employs 55 people currently.
