
ADV leads $10m series-B round for Urban
Accelerated Digital Ventures (ADV) has led a $10m series-B funding round for UK-headquartered health treatment booking platform Urban.
Existing backers Felix Capital and Passion Capital also took part in the series-A, which includes a $4.5m equity crowdfunding round raised by the company on Seedrs in August 2018.
The company will use the fresh capital to recruit 30 engineers in its newly launched office in Vilnius, Lithuania. It will also look to introduce new services and to make its platform available in more cities. Urban currently focuses on London, Birmingham, Manchester and Paris.
Previous funding
Felix, Passion and Samos Investments led a £3.5m series-A funding round for Urban in 2016. Felix then led a £2.3m series-A extension round for the business in 2017.
