Phoenix-backed Nineteen buys Broden Media
Phoenix Equity Partners portfolio company Nineteen Group has wholly acquired trade show organiser Broden Media.
The acquisition follows the bolt-on of Western Business Exhibitions last year and adds another major event at the NEC in Birmingham to Nineteen's portfolio.
Broden's managing directors, David Holden and David Brown, will hold a stake in the enlarged business.
Phoenix first invested in Nineteen in November 2018, drawing equity from its £415m fourth fund, Phoenix Equity Partners 2016.
Company
Broden was founded in 2000 and is headquartered in Banstead, Surrey. It organises The Emergency Services Show at the NEC in Birmingham and publishes the Emergency Services Times magazine.
