
Index leads $11m series-A for Flatfair
Index Ventures has led an $11m series-A funding round for residential rental platform Flatfair.
Revolt Ventures, Adevinta and business angels Greg Marsh, Jeremy Helsby and Taavet Hinrikus also participated in the funding round.
Index Ventures is currently investing from its Index Ventures IX fund, which closed on $650m in July 2018 and invests in early rounds for US-based and European companies.
The fresh capital will go towards hiring product engineers, data scientists and sales representatives, and building new features for the platform.

Founded in 2016, Flatfair is a classifieds website that supports tenants in paying their deposits through financing schemes. Headquartered in London, the technology company employs 35 people, according to LinkedIn. The company counts CBRE, Greystar and Places for People among its customers.
