Aquiline's ClearCourse makes 14th acquisition
Aquiline portfolio company ClearCourse has acquired BrightOffice, a provider of customer relationship management (CRM) software.
The deal is the 14th acquisition for London-headquartered ClearCourse since Aquiline founded the group in October 2018. The buy-and-build platform was launched in order to consolidate the market for the provision of software and related services to the membership, events, sport and leisure sectors.
Aquiline typically invests $20-200m across the lifetime of a company. However, Unquote understands that this latest acquisition was financed by ClearCourse. BrightOffice will continue to operate independently.
Other recent add-ons for the business include UK-based IT project management and consultancy business Trillium; IntelligentGolf, a provider of golf club and competition management software; and Decisions, a provider of CRM software for membership associations.
Company
Established in 2004, BrightOffice offers a customisable, cloud-based, software-as-a-service CRM platform to around 300 clients. Target sectors include financial services, energy, training, job management, and property. Its CRM systems can include prospecting services, process management, sales accounts, financial management, file management, webmail and e-marketing.
