
LDC-backed Lucid acquires Healthcare 21
LDC portfolio company Lucid Group Communications has acquired medical media company Healthcare 21 Communications.
The deal gives Lucid a footprint in the north-west of the UK, as well as in Singapore and Dubai.
LDC invested £11m in Lucid in 2017. This is Lucid's second acquisition in 2019, after the company acquired Bluedog in February.

Based in Macclesfield, Healthcare 21 has three locations around the world. The company produces healthcare materials and programmes for its clients. The team works in scientific strategy, content creation and digital design. The company was founded in 1996.
