
Piper invests in Mous
Consumer-focused investor Piper has provided phone accessories business Mous with funding to secure a minority stake.
The GP is currently investing from Piper Private Equity VI, which closed on £125m in 2016.
Piper stated it became aware of Mous through team members using its products in the office and got to know the management team a year prior to the investment, it said in a statement. The company launched its first product in 2017 following a crowdfunding campaign that raised $2.5m.

Based in London, Mous offers smartphone accessories, mainly focusing on protective cases. According to Piper, sales have grown by 120% in the current year, with 75% of revenues being generated outside the UK.
