
Summit leads $40m for Immersive Labs
Summit Partners has led a $40m funding round for cybersecurity education software company Immersive Labs.
Summit is currently investing from its Summit Partners Europe Growth Equity Fund II, which closed on €700m in July 2017. The fund makes investments in European companies across all sectors, with typical equity cheques of €20-60m.
Existing investor Goldman Sachs also joined the round.
The fresh capital will be used to support expansion in North America.
Previous funding
CyLon, a cybersecurity accelerator, invested £15,000 in the company in 2017.
Goldman Sachs led an $8m funding round in January 2019 with participation from private investors.

Founded in 2017, Immersive Labs is an interactive, on-demand cybersecurity skills platform. Headquartered in Bristol, it also operates an office in Boston and employs more than 100 staff.
