
Mobeus invests £13m in Access Partnership
Mobeus Equity Partners has invested £13m for a minority stake in public policy adviser Access Partnership.
The fund invests from a series of VCTs and institutional funds, including its Mobeus Equity Partners IV, which closed on £166m in 2017. Typical equity cheques are £2-15m.
Mobeus's investment will enable the consultancy to expand its services both geographically and into different sectors.
As part of the transaction, Simon Jones, the former CEO and vice-chairman of TMT consultancy Analysys Mason, has been appointed chairman, while Mobeus portfolio partner Guy Blackburn will join the company's board.
