Omers Ventures leads $5.2m round for Quorso
Omers Ventures has led a $5.2m series-A round for Quorso, a London-based business-optimisation software company.
Also participating in the round was Hambro Perks, a London-based VC specialising in seed and early-stage investments. The firm also manages a co-investment vehicle that allows high-net-worth individuals to invest alongside it.
Harry Briggs, managing partner at Omers Ventures, will join Quorso's board. Quorso intends to use the fresh capital to expand internationally, according to a statement.
Omers Ventures, the venture arm of the Ontario Municipal Employees Retirement Scheme (Omers), is currently deploying from Omers Ventures Erurope, which closed in March 2019 on €300m. The fund deploys €5-10m per round and generally invests at series-A and series-B stages.
