
FPE-backed Optimity acquires Pebble IT
FPE has supported portfolio company Optimity in its acquisition of managed IT services provider Pebble IT.
Optimity made the acquisition using a mix of new equity from FPE funds and debt provided by Clydesdale.
FPE acquired a majority stake in Optimity in June 2016 and is currently investing from its FPE Fund II, which closed on £100m in October 2017.
The acquisition is intended to help Optimtiy grow in its product areas of managed IT services. Pebble IT’s managing director David Osen will join the Optimity team as chief information officer.
