
CD&R-backed Capco bolts on Creative Construction
Clayton Dubilier & Rice (CD&R) portfolio company Capco has acquired digital strategy consultancy Creative Construction.
The acquisition is intended to strengthen Capco's digital transformation capabilities.
Creative Construction's founders and managing directors, Agnieszka Walorska and Alexander Braun, will join the Capco Germany leadership team as executive directors. The firm will operate as a distinct brand within Capco's consulting offering in Germany, Austria and Slovakia. It will continue to operate from Berlin in a new Capco branch office.
In May 2017, CD&R acquired a 60% stake in Capco Consulting Business from FIS for $477m. At the time, the firm was investing from its $10bn Clayton Dubilier Rice Fund X, which closed in April 2017.
Based in London, Capco is a management and technology consultancy dedicated to the financial services and energy industries.
Creative Construction has not previously received institutional funding.
