Limerston supports AdviserPlus in acquisition of Halborns
Limerston Capital-backed AdviserPlus has acquired employment law firm Halborns.
Unquote understands the acquisition was supported by Limerston Capital with fresh equity from its debut fund, Limerston Capital I. The fund closed on £200m in August 2017.
The Halborns acquisition is expected to add further capabilities to AdviserPlus, an HR consultancy that was acquired by Limerston in 2016.
The deal follows AdviserPlus's acquisition of HR platform implementation company Succeed, an investment in software-as-a-service human capital management platform ElementSuite, and its acquisition of Working Transitions, an organisational change and outplacement company.
Company
Based in Nottingham and founded in 2013, Halborns is an employment law firm. Through its Intelligent Employment platform, Halborns provides human resources and employment law services, enabling its subscribers to access a suite of HR documents and manage their HR department, incoporating employee data and absence, as well as 24-hour access to a team of employment lawyers.
