
Ubon portfolio companies Vaion and Jazz Networks merge
Ubon Partners-backed cybersecurity portfolio companies Vaion and Jazz Networks have merged.
Ubon makes early-stage investments of $5-20m, and also invests in distressed opportunities.
The combined company will be called Ava. Following the merger, the companies expect to consolidate their offerings to create a unified set of methods to ensure cybersecurity for its clients.
Employees of both companies own stakes in the combined company.

Vaion was founded in February 2018 with a capital investment from Ubon.

Founded in 2018, Uxbridge-based Vaion is a video security provider.
Jazz Networks focuses on cybersecurity insider threat detection and was founded in 2016. It is now also based in Uxbridge.
