
BGF invests £3m in ROI
BGF has invested £3m in lead generation technology company ROI.
The company initiated a process at the start of 2020 to explore funding options. The majority of the deal process was completed in lockdown, according to a statement.
Mattias Kaneteg, CEO of Miss Group (a previous portfolio company of BGF), is a non-executive director of ROI and made the introduction to BGF. Pinesh Mehta, an investor at BGF, will also join the board of ROI.
The fresh capital will be used for expansion into 12 cities across the UK and Europe with the establishment of sales offices.

ROI is a lead generation technology company that allows small businesses to rent optimised websites, which are intended to attract more leads and ultimately boosts sales. Founded in 2018, the business is headquartered in Manchester and operates in Sweden, reporting annual revenues in excess of £1m.
