
CD&R-backed Huntsworth acquires Cormis
Clayton Dubilier & Rice-backed Huntsworth has acquired strategic communications provider Cormis.
Cormis has been acquired specifically by Huntsworth division The Creative Engagement Group (TCEG), which is a provider of live and virtual event marketing; digital, immersive and film media; scientific engagement and training; digital learning and employee engagement consulting.
This is the company's first acquisition since CD&R's investment.
Cormis's UK partners, Ian Close, Ila Garner-Patel and Dan Masquelier, and US partners Bob Dufour and Sue Lohr, will continue to lead Cormis and join TCEG's leadership team, reporting to Russ Lidstone, the group CEO of TCEG.
Clayton Dubilier & Rice Fund X, which closed on $10bn in April 2017, acquired Huntsworth for £524m in March 2020.

Founded in 2011, Cormis trains sales and marketing executives in the pharmaceutical sector. Headquartered in Surrey and with an office in Philadelphia, Cormis employs fewer than 50, according to LinkedIn.
