Maven invests in Redwigwam
Maven Capital Partners has invested in recruitment platform Redwigwam.
The firm drew equity from its NPIF - Maven Equity Finance vehicle. In April 2020, Northern Powerhouse Investment Fund (NPIF) allocated a further £23.7m to Maven Capital Partners. It has £57.5m in deployable capital. To date, the fund has invested £33m and has seen one exit: the sale of ITS Technology to Aviva Investors in January 2020.
The company has seen fast growth during the Covid-19 pandemic, according to a statement.
The investment will support the firm to recruit more staff and further develop its platform, as well as strengthen its management team. Joining the firm are Steve Harris, who will be managing director with responsibility for technology and operations, having recently sold his own IT company, Polymorph; and Dawn Paine, who held senior marketing roles at Nintendo UK & Universal Pictures, and will become marketing director.
