
Zamo invests in SASC
Zamo Capital has invested in investment manager Social and Sustainable Capital (SASC).
The firm has drawn equity from its debut fund, the first since its final close in November 2019. Zamo invests in impact fund managers.
The investment is expected to allow the company to scale its activities and accelerate fundraising for its fund, Social and Sustainable Housing (SASH). SASH's other investors include institutional asset managers, endowments, foundations and family offices, such as CCLA Investment Management, Big Society Capital, University of Edinburgh Endowment, and Garfield Weston.
Previous funding
HCT Group provided SASC with debt financing of £17.8m in 2019. Later that year, Five Lambs also contributed £5m in debt financing.
In April 2019, Futures Management Group provided £250,000 in debt financing.
