
Seventure, Vostok lead $10m round for TransferGo
Seventure and Vostok Emerging Finance have led a $10m funding round for money transfer company TransferGo.
French VC Seventure is currently investing from its Digital Opportunities Fund, which held an interim close on €60m in January 2018.
Hard Yaka, Revo Capital and Bootstrap Europe also participated.
Previous funding
Practica Capital provided TransferGo with €150,000 and €200,000 of early-stage funding in 2012 and 2013 respectively. Practica then led a $2.5m seed funding round for the company in 2015, alongside private investors.
Vostok provided $3.4m in series-A funding for TransferGo in 2016.
Vostok New Ventures led a $17.6m series-B funding round for TransferGo, alongside US investor Hard Yaka in December 2018.
Seventure invested $3.4m in May 2019.
Company
Established in 2012, TransferGo offers money transferring services online. The company now employs 120 people and has offices in London, Berlin, Warsaw, Vilnius and Istanbul.
