
SoftBank in $19.5m in Splyt series-B
SoftBank invests $19.5m in mobilty app integrator Splyt Group.
Other investors included American Express Ventures, the strategic investment group of American Express.
SoftBank's Vision Fund held a first close on $93bn in 2017 and invests in technology companies around the world. Its portfolio companies include Uber, Arm and WeWork. SoftBank is currently fundraising for SoftBank Vision Fund II, which has a $108bn target.
Daichi Nozaki, SoftBank vice-president and head of the global business division, will join Splyt's board of directors.
Previous funding
Splyt received seed funding of around $7m from undisclosed sources between 2015 and 2016.
The company raised $8m in a series-A funding led by ride hailing app Grab in July 2019.
