
IVP leads $40m series-A for Hopin
IVP has led a $40m series-A for virtual events provider Hopin.
The US-based VC is currently investing from its IVP XVI vehicle, which closed on $1.5bn in September 2017.
Salesforce Ventures and existing investors Accel, Northzone, Seedcamp and Slack Fund also participated.
The company will use the investment to scale its platform to meet demand for its services, according to a statement.
Previous funding
Accel led a $6.5m seed round for Hopin in February 2020. Northzone, Seedcamp, Web Summit’s Amaranthine Fund, and Slack Fund and some angel investors also participated in the round.

Founded in 2019, Hopin has hosted thousands of virtual events, including large-scale technology events, international conferences and weddings. The company is based in London.
