Draper Esprit leads £16.4m in series-C round in Ravelin
Draper Esprit has led a ТЃ16.4m series-C funding round for fraud detection company Ravelin.
Amadeus Capital Partners, BlackFin Tech, and Passion Capital also participated in the round.
Existing investors, led by Playfair Capital with participation from Amadeus Capital, Passion Capital, Wonga founder Errol Damelin, and Paul Forster, founder of Indeed.com, have all either maintained or expanded their respective stakes in the business.
This investment enables Ravelin to continue to grow the team and invest in infrastructure and technology.
Previous funding
In 2015, Playfair, Amadeus and a number of business angels invested £1.3m in Ravelin.
In 2016, Passion Capital joined existing investors to invest £3m in the company.
Subsequently, BlackFin Capital Partners joined existing investors in an £8m funding round in 2018.
