
GCP invests in GTS
Growth Capital Partners (GCP) has invested in materials manufacturer GTS Flexible Materials.
The firm has taken a significant minority stake. It is currently investing from its Growth Capital Partners Fund IV, which closed on £205m in July 2017. The fund was 75% deployed as of September 2019.
The fund makes hybrid debt and equity investments of £5-30m across a variety of sectors.
The investment will support growth to extend capacity to meet demand in the electric vehicle market.

Founded in 1977, GTS Flexible Materials is a specialist manufacturer of technically differentiated adhesives, flexible laminates and insulation materials for the automotive, power distribution and general electronics markets. It has manufacturing facilities in South Wales and is headquartered in Ebbw Vale. For the year ending on 30 November 2018, the company generated a turnover of £12m and an EBITDA of £3.3m.
