
Volery takes minority stake in SDC
Volery Capital Partners has taken a minority stake in energy investment advisory firm Sustainable Development Capital.
The investment was made through Volery's strategic partnership with Ares Management. The agreement saw Ares become a minority shareholder in Volery and agree to provide capital to support Volery's operating and investment activities.
Volery partners with, provides growth equity capital to, and co-invests alongside asset managers across asset classes.
The company's CEO and founder, Jonathan Maxwell, will continue to manage the business alongside the current management team. A representative of Volery will join SDCL's board of directors.
