
Newion leads €2m for Objective Platform
Newion has led a €2m investment in marketing software developer Objective Platform.
Also participating in the round were Robbert Visser, former CFO of Dept, and existing investor The Hatch Firm.
Newion III was announced in July 2017 with a target of €85m. It reportedly had a size of €60m as of September 2017, but has not yet announced a formal close. The fund's objective is to invest in companies in the business technology and software sectors in Benelux. The fund plans to make 15-25 investments.
The funding will be used to further expand Objective Platform's team and product.

Objective Platform was founded in 2014 by Willem van der Weide and André Merkus to help companies track and optimise their omnichannel media investments and marketing spend. Based in Amsterdam, the company also has offices in London and Singapore.
