
BGF invests in Leeds company Northern Building Plastics
BGF has invested in Northern Building Plastics, a UK-based distributor of uPVC plastics and building products.
The GP's backing will help the company expand its service, delivery capability and product range.
As part of the deal, John Browett, who has held CEO and board roles at companies such as Dixons, Dunelm Group, Tesco and Apple, joins the company as non-executive chair.
Barry Jackson, who led the deal at BGF, said the company was capable of significant scale and was trusted by its customers "because of its quality products and the fact its super depots allow the business to provide much greater stock availability and a next-day delivery service across the UK".

Founded in 2010 and based in Leeds, Northern Building Plastics is a B2B distributor of uPVC plastics and building products. It has a second site in Bolton.
