
Mobeus invests £8.2m in architectural visualisation studio The Boundary
SME-focused investor Mobeus Equity Partners has invested £8.2m in London-based architectural visualisation studio The Boundary.
Additionally, the GP has agreed to provide a debt facility to support the company's existing acquisition pipeline.
The company, founded in 2014, will use the proceeds to invest in its team, technology, and sales and marketing efforts, and to continue introducing its services to new sectors. The company will "roll its services into new sectors, including luxury automotive and e-commerce", the GP said.
The deal is the GP's 12th investment from Mobeus Equity Partners Fund IV, which is now 70% invested. Other recent investments from the vehicle include Vivacity Labs, which develops software to improve traffic insights and safety procedures; and ABL1Touch, a provider of automotive repair services.
Mobeus is currently fundraising for for its fifth fund, and expects to hold a first close for it by the summer this year.
