
Bridgepoint’s ITG picks up Creator
Marketing services and technology company Inspired Thinking Group (ITG), backed by Bridgepoint Development Capital, has acquired Creator.
Following the deal, Creator will be renamed ITG Creator. Creator's founder March Brennan will continue with the enlarged entity as CEO of ITG Creator.
Previous funding
Bridgepoint acquired ITG in April 2014 for £28m from previous backer Livingbridge.
Company
London-based Creator specialises in electronic customer relationship management (eCRM). Its data management and analysis is used by Virgin Media and TUI Group.
Founded in 2006, and initially called CreatorMail, the business offers email marketing campaigns, websites, apps, design and banners for its clients. It has a range of data-led services, including engagement warehousing, a single-customer-view portal, back-end testing services, transaction systems and call-centre software.
Birmingham-based ITG was founded in 2009 and also offers technology-led marketing services.
The combined group employs 500 people across offices in Europe and the US.
