
Carlyle invests in GSLS
Carlyle has invested in General Secure Logistics Services (GSLS), an Irish cash logistics firm, via its Carlyle Cardinal Ireland (CCI) Fund.
Carlyle and Cardinal Capital launched their joint CCI fund in January 2013 with a €300-350m target. The vehicle held its final close in July this year on €292m.

Founded in 2004, GSLS is headquartered in Dublin with an additional office in Limerick. The company provides cash management and cash logistics services.
It provides cash-in-transit, cash processing, collection, verification and supplying notes and coins to Irish businesses in the financial and retail sectors. The company employs 140 staff.

Robert Easton is managing director and head of Carlyle's CCI team. Nigel McDermott is co-founder of Cardinal.
