North West Fund backs Connect Technology Group
The North West Fund for Digital & Creative has invested in Burnley-based systems developer Connect Technology Group.
The fund is managed by AXM Venture Capital and forms part of the £170m North West Fund financed by the European Regional Development Fund and the European Investment Bank.
Connect plans to use the capital to develop its products in the UK childcare sector.
Company
Connect develops systems for businesses in the nursery and childcare market. The group consists of management software provider Connect Childcare and specialist access control business Connect Security. It serves clients from both the public and private sectors.
Connect is based in Burnley where it employs 13 staff.
