Enterprise Ventures backs Ph.Creative
Enterprise Ventures has invested £500,000 in Liverpool-based marketing agency Ph.Creative from its North West Fund for Venture Capital.
The company plans to double in size following the investment. It appointed Steve Turnock, previously involved in 3i's TrainStation and Dunedin's Practice Plan, as non-executive chairman as part of the deal.
The North West Fund for Venture Capital is part of The North West Fund, which is backed by the European Regional Development Fund and the European Investment Bank under the European Commission's Joint European Resources for Micro to Medium Enterprises Initiative (Jeremie). The evergreen fund was established to provide debt and equity funding in the £500,000-2m range to SMEs based in, or relocating to, the North West of England.
