
BGF invests £8.7m in PTS
The Business Growth Fund (BGF) has invested £8.7m in London-based PTS Consulting Group.
The fresh capital will be used to fund geographical expansion, with a particular focus on the US, as well as to develop the company's data centre service. The investment will also aid the recruitment of new staff and will be available for potential add-on deals.

PTS is an IT consulting and project management business. Established in 1983, the company is headquartered in London and operates through 17 further offices throughout Australia, Asia, the Middle East, Europe and the US.
PTS's clients are made up of global investment banks and FTSE 200 companies. PTS has aided its customers in moving into high-profile premises including the Willis Tower in Chicago , the Abu Dhabi Stock Exchange and the Mori Tower in Tokyo.
In London, PTS is supporting companies moving into 122 Leadenhall Street – more commonly known as the Cheesegrater – the Walkie Talkie (20 Fenchurch Street) and the Gherkin.
The company has recently developed its data-centre service; recent projects include supporting an online retail and distribution company with an assessment of its data centre capability.
PTS employs 400 people and is expected to generate revenues of £40m this year.
People
Kevin Perrett is CEO of PTS. Following the deal, Rob Pinchbeck will join the company's board as chairman. Pinchbeck most recently worked with Petrofac and has spent 40 years in the oil and gas industry. Tim Whittard is investment director at BGF.
