The company intends to accelerate its international expansion and develop new business lines, while focusing on primary research solutions for investors. Beringea invested from its ProVen VCT, ProVen Growth & Income VCT and ProVen Health VCT funds.

The firm was founded in London in 2007 by Emmanuel Tahar and Rodolphe de Hemptinne, two former Bain & Company consultants. The company has additional offices in New York, Shanghai, Hong Kong and New Delhi.
